The warrior wrestling team finished with a 18-10 record as a team finishing in the top 10 in 1A-2A.  They lost a close battle with 2 seed North Central(45-33) in the quarter finals of Upper State Duals giving up 6 forfeits.  The warriors qualified 4 wrestlers from Upper State Individuals to compete in the  SCHSL state championships in Anderson, SC.  Freshman Austin Ross (106) went 1-2.  Sophmore Kyle Daley (132) went 3-1, placing 3rd and All State honors.  His only lose of the weekend was to the State Champ, Matt Frey, from Liberty (6-3 Dec).  Senior captain, Tomas Seamon, went 2-2 on the weekend, taking 4th place and All State honors.  Co-captain senior, Will Van Hoose, went 3-1 on the weekend, taking 3rd place and All State honors. Our seniors Richie Wilkinson, Tomas Seamon, and Will Van Hoose have been a tremendous group of leaders and will be truly missed. This was a great season and all warrior wrestlers representing well all season long.  Senior Will Van Hoose travels to North Mrytle Beach HS this weekend to complete in the North/South All Star match.  Thank you for all the support this year. Go Warriors!!
