Bevans Throws Perfect Game As Warriors Defeats Columbia
Seth Bevans was perfect on the mound as he led Warriors past Columbia 15-0 on Tuesday. Bevans struck out N Carter to end the game.
An early lead helped propel Warriors to victory. Warriors scored on a passed ball , a walk , and a walk by David Loughry in the first inning.
Warriors captured the lead in the first inning.
Warriors scored six runs in the third inning. Warriors scored on a walk by Chris Rote, a single by Jay Hildreth, a walk , a walk by Hunter Laney, a fielder’s choice by Loughry, and a single by Kyle Raynor.
Seth Bevans earned the win for Warriors. He tossed three innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, striking out five, and walking zero. J Puch took the loss for Columbia. He went two and two-thirds innings, giving up 13 runs, five hits, and striking out three.
Hildreth went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Warriors in hits. Daniel Gueldner led Warriors with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases. Warriors didn’t commit a single error in the field. James Mulvaney had the most chances in the field with five.
