Game Recap

Two Pitchers Team Up As Warriors Shuts Out Columbia
Warriors defeated Columbia 10-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Zack Webb induced a groundout from Q Gibson to finish off the game.
An early lead helped propel Warriors to victory. Warriors scored on a single by Reed Lilly in the first inning.
Warriors captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Lilly drove in one run when he singled.
Warriors scored four runs in the third inning. Warriors scored on a single by Nolan Bolt and a single.
A single by J Williams in the fifth inning was a positive for Columbia.
Seth Bevans earned the win for Warriors. He pitched four and a third innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out six, and walking zero. J Brisbon took the loss for Columbia. He threw four innings, surrendering ten runs, four hits, and striking out three.
Justin Cope, Jay Hildreth, Lilly, and Bolt all had one hit to lead Warriors. Warriors was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Cope made the most plays with five.
Williams went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Columbia in hits.

Warriors Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Warriors watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-0 loss to Nation Ford on Friday. Nation Ford scored on a groundout by Tyler Causey and a single by Zander Sheldon in the first inning.
Nation Ford took an early lead in the first inning. Tyler Causey grounded out, scoring one run.
One bright spot for Warriors was a single by Chase Dougherty in the second inning.
Joseph Wyatt earned the win for Nation Ford. He tossed three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out six, and walking one. Two relievers helped Nation Ford close out the victory. Derek Sivec threw two and a third innings. Matt Murray took the loss for Warriors. He pitched four and a third innings, surrendering four runs, six hits, striking out four, and walking one.
Daniel Gueldner and Dougherty each collected one hit to lead Warriors.
Nation Ford had eight hits in the game. Greg Izzo and Alex Stennett each collected multiple hits for Nation Ford.

Warriors Falls To Lancaster On Walkoff
It came down to the last play, but Warriors was on the wrong end of a 12-11 defeat to Lancaster on Wednesday. The game was tied at 11 with Lancaster batting in the bottom of the eighth when Sergio Vasquez doubled off of Wes Barfield, driving in one run.
Matt Murray drove in four runners in the loss. Murray drove in runs on a triple in the first, a stolen base in the second, and a double in the fourth.
Warriors took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Warriors.
Lancaster evened things up at 11 in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lancaster scored one run when Evan Hardin singled with two outs in the seventh inning.
Warriors scored four runs in the sixth inning. Warriors scored on a error and a stolen base.
Lancaster scored three runs in the third inning. Lancaster’s big inning was driven by a single by Sergio Vasquez and a single by Matt Rogers.
Warriors had ten hits in the game. Murray, Daniel Gueldner, and Chase Dougherty each collected multiple hits for Warriors. Gueldner and Murray each managed three hits to lead Warriors.

Nolan Bolt throw a Gem, But the Warrior Offense Count Not Find Enough Runs In Loss To Rock Hill
Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but Rock Hill was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Warriors on Tuesday. Nolan Bolt started the game for Warriors and recorded all 21 outs in 91 pitches.
A double by Seth Bevans in the third inning was the only hit for the Warriors.
RJ Petit earned the win for Rock Hill. He pitched seven innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, and striking out ten. Nolan Bolt took the loss for Warriors. He went seven innings, surrendering one run, four hits, striking out 11, and walking zero.
Bevans went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Warriors in hits.
Noah Chapman led Rock Hill with two hits in three at bats.
