Varsity Volleyball Starts Season Strong

The ILHS Warriors Varsity Volleyball team had a strong opening week. The season began on August 24 with a win against Lewisville and another win on Thursday against conference rival Cheraw.   The Warrior girls cross country team opened the season by competing in the 10th annual Providence Invitational at McAlpine creek park in Charlotte, NC.  The girl’s team started the season strong by placing 11th out of 34 teams in the girls open race.  This is the highest finish for the girl’s team at the

The Warriors boys cross country team opened the season by competing in the Providence Invitational at McAlpine park in Charlotte, NC.  The team placed 24th out of 31 teams in the boys open race. Leading the way for the boy’s team was sophomore Connor Leyland with a time of 18:23 placing 88th out of 273.
