Gatorade G-WEEK Had over 300 student/athletes attend

300 Student/Athletes attended the G-week presentation March 22, 2017.Coaches will be given energy chews, protein bars, fuel bars, protein shakes, and Gatorade Thirst Quencher during games and practices.

Gatorade G-Week March 22-24

Gatorade will be at ILHS March 22-24 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) for G-Week. Over 200 students will participate by learning about Gatorade and the products they offer for pre and post workouts including practices. Each coach will be supplied protein shakes, protein bars, and gatorade chews to disperse amongst their teams accordingly.

Thanksgiving Wrestling Results

This past Saturday the Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Monroe for the Thanksgiving Tournament and wrestled very well! Finishing second out of 16 teams with 4 Champions. Wrestling Practice to start Oct. 31

ILHS varsity wrestling practices will begin Monday, October 31 at 4 PM in the Indian Land Elementary gym.  A parent meeting will be held Friday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 pm in the ILE gym.  For more information contact Head Coach Leon Boulware at

New Wrestling Coach at IL

Leon Boulware will be the new varsity wrestling coach at ILHS.  Coach Boulware comes to the Warriors after successfully leading programs at Nation Ford and Lancaster High Schools.  He will also be working in the ILHS Special Ed Department.  Coach Boulware replaces Kevin Mager who transferred within the school district to AJ Middle School.

Warrior wrestlers finish up season strong

The warrior wrestling team finished with a 18-10 record as a team finishing in the top 10 in 1A-2A.  They lost a close battle with 2 seed North Central(45-33) in the quarter finals of Upper State Duals giving up 6 forfeits.  The warriors qualified 4 wrestlers from Upper State Individuals to compete in the  SCHSL

Tomorrow’s (1/22) wrestling match at Buford has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 6 PM at Buford.

Warrior wrestlers starts strong in the New Year

The wrestling team competed in the tough Rock Hill Bearcat tournament at Rock Hill and had 3 placers.  Austin Ross, 106, placed 6th. Kyle Daley, 132, placed 2nd.
